Okay we connected 4 in a row, but 5 is more than 4 so let’s get to 5 in a row!

Bet: Roman Josi o3.5 Shots on Goal + Zach Hyman o2.5 Shots on Goal +155 BetRivers/Barstool

These two get a bump down on their lines compared to other books which have them at 4.5 and 3.5, respectively.  Both these players are rolling right now so let’s breakdown why I like them paired together tonight.

First, Josi.  Josi and the Predators are on the road tonight against the Winnipeg Jets.  The Jets are ~-155 favorites on their home ice tonight, which is important for Josi’s shot totals.  As it is for most defenseman in the league, Josi has seen his shot total rise significantly in games the Predators have lost this season.  Looking at their last 10 losses we can see that Josi hit this shot line in 9 of those:

Josi is averaging 3.83 shots in games the Predators win and 4.91 shots in the games they lose, definitely a significant boost.

Next, we pair with Zach Hyman who is back up with McDavid, which is right where Hyman excels.  Hyman has hit his 3+ shot line in 10 straight games while averaging 5.1 shots on goal:

Hyman’s shot attempts are up to 6.4 over his last 10 and he also had 4 shots already vs St. Louis this season.
